As the nation struggles to rise from the ashes of the Darkest Day, an age of new beginnings emerges. As many torches pass from old hands to new, the recently instated Chairman of the Galar League works tirelessly to rebuild the organisation and restore the country's trust in what was once the pride of a nation. Seasoned Gym Leaders become accustomed to a new way of operating and new blood rises to the challenge of filling the shoes of their predecessors.Thus begins a new chapter in Galar's history; one that many hope will bring about a brighter future and leave the Darkest Day as no more than a shadowy memory.
Welcome to Wyndon Calling! The bulk of character interactions will happen on Twitter, however we do have a Discord server for real-time interactions and socialising OOC!Our goal in creating the group is to cultivate a fun atmosphere with occasional high-stakes events and a cohesive storyline! Feed commentary, prose threads, and banter are all encouraged!In the future we plan to implement further mechanics, such as a rotating Champion system, so stay tuned!
RULES

-Wyndon Calling accepts writers of 18 and above.-Bigotry in any form is not tolerated; this means absolutely no racism, homophobia, transphobia, or sexism.-Dark themes such as violence are permitted, but must be tagged appropriately. Please use the following format: tw // violence-It is at the discretion of individual writers whether to roleplay sexual content; however, this should be kept to DMs. Please respect the boundaries of other writers, as well as their decision to engage in sexual content or not.-Paedophilia, pokephilia, and incest are not permitted.-It is at the discretion of individual writers whether to interact with personal accounts or non-group members. We suggest making this clear in pinned, Carrd or bio. Only interactions with other Wyndon Calling members will be canon to the group's timeline.-It is at the discretion of individual writers whether to post OOC on their accounts.-Largely, we wish to create a space where we can trust group members to be mindful of each other's limits and triggers and to do what they can to keep the group comfortable and fun for all.

-OCs are accepted and encouraged!-Pokémon are also accepted, but only as their canon forms; no gijinkas, please. If the writer wishes, they can speak a la Meowth in the anime, or pet Twitter accounts, for example.-Characters from all regions and games are welcome, as long as they can be permanently or largely based in Galar! I.E. an offshoot branch of Team Rocket comprised of OCs and relocated canon Rocket characters.-We ask that characters are kept to their rough canon ages. There is of course an aspect of interpretation here, but we ask that, for instance, Marnie isn't placed in her twenties.-No genderbends (alteration of characters' pronouns and transitioning/transitioned characters are fine!)-For the time being, members can apply for two human canon characters each.-We ask for at least one in character tweet a week, which can be as simple or complex as you please. If you are unable to meet the activity check, please message the Wyndon Calling Twitter or let us know in the Discord. We ultimately aim to keep things relaxed, and will only drop characters for persistent unexplained inactivity.

-Please source all art used on your account.-Please be courteous to your fellow writers; disagreements and conflict in character are fine, but please be respectful to other muns and discuss anything heavy OOC.-As a continuation of that respect, should any problems or disagreements arise between writers, please communicate with one another or, if necessary, involve a mod. Unresolved tension is never fun; even worse is when that energy is spread to other writers, intentionally or otherwise. We are aiming to cultivate an open, mature, and communicative community, and whilst we understand that difficulties happen, we will not tolerate bad-faith attempts to escalate disagreements into petty drama.
